These photos were taken in Bountiful, Utah in fall 2016.
Rachel was a friend of mine I met during my freshman year of college. I’ve loved seeing all the cute pictures of her new baby on Facebook, so I was so excited when it worked out for me to take a few family pictures for them. Aren’t they the cutest?
It was a little cold outside so we decided to take pictures at City Creek Center in Salt Lake, and it turned out to be the perfect location.
A few weeks ago, we were able to fly out to North Carolina and then drive down to Myrtle Beach, SC, to spend Christmas with Forrest’s family. We decided it would be a good time to do a group family picture. I wasn’t feeling super well, so I wasn’t really thinking when we positioned everyone directly in front of the sun…but it worked out. We sure had a fun time!
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to take some “Save the Date” pictures for this cute couple. They are getting married in May in Hawaii, and I think we were all wishing we were in Hawaii during the pictures, because it was SO cold. Regardless, they were great sports, and we got some great shots of them. They were so easy to photography — very natural together. These were taken at Vivian Park in Provo Canyon — prettiest place ever during the fall!
We have been visiting some of my family while we’ve been in Colorado, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to take some family pictures for my brother’s family. We went to a beautiful park in downtown Littleton called Sterne Park. Not all of the lighting was ideal, but I think we got some good shots of this cute family!
Right before my sister-in-laws wedding, I took a few engagement photos for my brother-in-law and his fiancee, who are getting married in October. It’s definitely been a busy few months for our family, wedding-wise. This was the first time I was really able to get to know my soon-to-be sister-in-law, so it was a fun experience.
The lighting wasn’t so great, but I think we got a few good shots! These photos were taken at the Raleigh, NC LDS Temple.
My sister-in-law got engaged at the beginning of the summer, and her wedding took place on August 16th. She was nice enough to let me take some bridal portraits of her. This was my first bridal session, so I was happy to see that there were some very pretty ones. She was a beautiful bride! These bridal pictures were taken at the Riverwoods in Provo, Utah, as well as a few at the Provo Library.
When I went up to Rexburg in July, I had the opportunity to take some pictures of my sister’s beautiful children. I love these kids so much, so I was happy to take some pictures. We went to the gardens at BYU-Idaho, which were totally beautiful.
All of these kids are so photogenic, so it wasn’t hard to get some cute pictures (even if they weren’t totally loving being there!) Someday they’ll definitely cherish these pictures. I know their mom already does.
I just had to share this one — it displays quite nicely how the kids felt about all these pictures!
